PROGRAM

Day 1: Arrival in Uganda
Today you will arrive at Entebbe airport. Upon arrival, you shall be assisted through emigration clearance. You shall be transported to your hotel which is only 20 minutes from the airport.
Day 2: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park
You shall check out of your hotel at 7am to start your journey by road to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The Park's diverse ecosystem of grassy plains, tropical forests, rivers, swamps, lakes and volcanic craters is home to an incredible abundance of wildlife. You will have a game drive upon arrival and check in at your accommodation for the night.
Day 3: Morning Game drive and afternoon boat ride
After breakfast, you will head out of the lodge for an early morning game drive in Kasenyi plains. Search the tracks for lions, leopards, elephants and many other animals. After lunch you will enjoy the unique 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of hippos and many animals may be seen drinking at the water's edge. This launch cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. Return to your accommodation for the night
Day 4: Morning Game drive in Ishasha. Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and drive to the Ishasha sector where you will have a game drive in search of the famous tree-climbing lions and the large herds of game. You will carry a packed lunch which you will enjoy in Ishasha. Your game drive shall last until the evening. Afterwards you will drive through the "Switzerland of Africa" area known as the Kigezi Highlands with its terraced hillside and winding roads to Bwindi. You will proceed to your accommodation located in the foreground of Bwindi impenetrable national park – The home of Mountain Gorillas in Uganda.
Day 5: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi national park
After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters from where you shall be briefed and grouped for your Gorilla trekking exercise. Tracking gorillas on average takes 3 – 6 hours depending on how far the animals have moved. You will spend an hour following, observing and photographing the Gorillas as they feed, play, and groom each other. After the experience, you will exit Bwindi Forest and drive back to your accommodation. In the evening, you will have a guided tour of the communities around Bwindi. Visit local beer brewers, Batwa communities and a vegetable farm. You can use this time to purchase souvenirs from the community.
Day 6: Flight to Entebbe and departure
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kihihi airstrip to catch your flight back to Entebbe airport. The flight departs from Kihihi at 09:30hr and arrive in Entebbe at 11:25hr. In Entebbe you will check in for your departure flight to your next destination.

  • All our travel packages are on a private basis.
  • Rates do not apply for Children aged 0-2 years as they are not charged.
  • Children between 3-11 years pay 50% of the adult rate when sharing the same rooms with adults.
  • Children between 3-11years pay 75% of the adult rate when in separate rooms from the adults.
  • Children above 11 years are recognized as adults therefore charged adult room rates.
  • Rates quoted are applicable to non-residents.
