PROGRAM

Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Naivasha
Your safari begins early in the morning with a pick-up from Nairobi. After a short briefing, you will depart for Lake Naivasha, enjoying the beautiful views of the Great Rift Valley escarpments along the way. Upon arrival, check in at Naivasha Crescent Camp and relax by the lake shores. In the afternoon, you can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere around the camp, take nature walks, or go for an optional boat ride (at an extra cost).

Day 2: Lake Naivasha – Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its diverse birdlife, rhinos, and lions. Arrive at the park for a game drive en route to the lodge. Check in at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge, have lunch, and enjoy an afternoon game drive. Explore the park’s scenic viewpoints such as Baboon Cliff and Makalia Falls.

Day 3: Nakuru – Maasai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, depart for the legendary Maasai Mara, arriving in time for lunch at Zebra Plains Mara Camp. After a short rest, head out for an exciting afternoon game drive in search of the Big Five and other wildlife. Return to camp later in the evening for dinner.

Day 4: Full Day in Maasai Mara
Spend the entire day exploring Maasai Mara with a full-day game drive. Experience the rich wildlife, rolling plains, and rivers that make the Mara one of the world’s best safari destinations. You may also visit a local Maasai village (optional, extra cost) to learn about Maasai culture. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Maasai Mara to Serengeti National Park
You will be picked up from Isebania by your driver/guide. After your greeting, you will begin your scenic drive towards Serengeti National Park, which offers breathtaking views of the African landscape. The drive will take you through diverse terrains, and upon arrival in Serengeti, you will check in to your accommodation. The evening will be free for you to relax and enjoy a delicious dinner, getting ready for an exciting safari experience ahead.

Day 6: Full day safari in Serengeti
On Day 2, after a hearty breakfast, you will embark on a full day of game drives in the vast Serengeti National Park. Known for its stunning wildlife, Serengeti is home to the "Big Five" (lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos), as well as cheetahs, giraffes, and an impressive variety of bird species. Your guide will take you to various locations in the park to maximize your chances of spotting wildlife. During the day, you will enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, continuing your exploration until the evening. You will then return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7: Serengeti to Zanzibar by flight
After an early breakfast in the Serengeti, you will be transferred to the nearest airstrip for your scenic flight to Zanzibar, giving you one last chance to admire the breathtaking views of the endless plains, wildlife below, and the dramatic Rift Valley landscapes from above. As the aircraft approaches Zanzibar, the scenery transforms into turquoise waters, coral reefs, and stretches of white-sand beaches. Upon landing, a representative will greet you and assist with your private transfer to your beach resort. The remainder of the day is yours to unwind—enjoy a refreshing welcome drink, settle into your room, stroll along the shore, swim in the warm Indian Ocean, or simply relax under the palm trees as you transition from the thrill of safari to the calming rhythm of island life.

Day 8: Relaxing or option tour: Dolphin and snorkeling adventure
This Day offers a wonderfully flexible schedule, giving you the choice to either enjoy a full day of relaxation at your resort or embark on an exciting optional half-day Dolphin and Snorkeling Adventure. If you choose the tour, you will set off in the morning toward the southern coast, where local experts will guide you on a boat ride to areas known for playful wild dolphins. With a bit of luck, you may be able to swim alongside them in their natural habitat. The experience continues with snorkeling in clear, warm waters above vibrant coral reefs teeming with colorful marine life. After the excursion, you will return to your hotel by midday, leaving the afternoon free to unwind—whether by the pool, on the beach, or indulging in spa treatments as you soak up the peaceful island atmosphere.

Day 9: Relaxing or optional tour visit Stone Town, spice tour
On this day, you can choose to enjoy a leisurely day at your resort or embark on an optional cultural excursion to explore Zanzibar’s rich history and vibrant flavors. The tour begins with a visit to Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where winding streets, ornate doors, bustling markets, and historic sites reveal the island’s fascinating blend of African, Arab, Indian, and European influences. You will then visit a Spice Farm, strolling through aromatic plantations and learning about the cultivation of cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and other exotic spices. Taste fresh fruits, herbs, and spices along the way, gaining a true sense of why Zanzibar is famously called the "Spice Island." The tour concludes with a transfer back to your hotel, leaving you with the afternoon to relax and reflect on the sights, scents, and stories of the day.

Day 10: Departure Day
As your time in Tanzania and Zanzibar comes to an end, it’s time to say goodbye to this enchanting corner of the world and begin your journey home.   • Rates do not apply for Children aged 0-2 years as they are not charged.
  • Children between 3-11 years pay 50% of the adult rate when sharing the same rooms with adults.
