Classic Safari: Three Icons of Kenya

After an early departure from Nairobi, the journey begins at Amboseli National Park—one of Kenya’s most picturesque parks, known for its panoramic views of Mount Kilimanjaro. The route winds through the country’s rural areas, allowing you to witness the urban landscape gradually give way to the endless African plains.
After arrival, check-in, and lunch, you’ll go on your first safari. Amboseli is considered one of the best places in Africa for spotting elephants, which roam freely across the park’s open spaces. In addition to elephants, the park is home to giraffes, zebras, antelopes, buffalo, and predators. In the evening, return to the lodge for dinner and rest.

The entire day is devoted to exploring Amboseli National Park. Thanks to the open landscapes, the animals here are easily spotted, and the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro remains the highlight of virtually any route through the park.
During the safari, you may encounter large herds of elephants, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, and many species of birds. Lunch will be served outdoors, after which the safari will continue in another part of the park. Each outing follows a new route and offers the opportunity to see even more of Africa’s wildlife in its natural habitat.

After breakfast, the tour will continue to Lake Naivasha, located in the Great Rift Valley. This region is quite different from the savannas of Amboseli and is famous for its lakes, green shores, and rich wildlife.
After lunch, you’ll take a boat ride on the lake, during which you can spot hippos and a variety of birds that inhabit the shoreline. Next, you’ll visit Crescent Island—one of the few places in Kenya where walking safaris among wild animals are permitted. Here, you can observe giraffes, zebras, gazelles, and antelopes without the usual safari vehicles, making this encounter with nature particularly interesting and memorable.

After breakfast, you’ll head to the famous Maasai Mara Reserve—one of Africa’s most renowned national parks. Along the way, the route will take you through the town of Narok and the picturesque regions of southwestern Kenya.
After checking in and having lunch, you’ll go on your first safari across the endless plains of the Maasai Mara. It is here that you can see classic African landscapes with numerous herds of zebras and antelopes, giraffes on the horizon, and predators lurking in the tall grass. In the evening, you’ll return to the lodge for dinner and rest.

This day is entirely devoted to a safari in the Maasai Mara. Transportation is provided by special safari jeeps with retractable roofs, allowing you to comfortably observe the animals and photograph them in their natural habitat.
The Maasai Mara is considered one of the best places to spot members of the famous Big Five: the lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo. In addition to the safari, you’ll visit a traditional Maasai village, where you can learn about the local culture, way of life, and centuries-old traditions of one of East Africa’s most famous peoples. After an eventful day, return to the lodge for dinner and rest.

After breakfast and check-out from the lodge, you’ll begin your return journey to Nairobi. Along the way, there will be a stop for lunch in the town of Narok—the unofficial capital of the Maasai people and one of the largest towns in the region.
During the drive, you’ll have another chance to enjoy Kenya’s picturesque landscapes and reminisce about the highlights of your safari. Arrival in Nairobi is scheduled for the evening. At the end of the program, a transfer to your hotel or the airport will be arranged.
