After breakfast, your safari adventure begins as you depart Arusha in a 4×4 safari jeep and travel through the scenic highlands toward the world-famous Serengeti. The journey takes you across the beautiful Ngorongoro Conservation Area, offering your first glimpses of wildlife and vast open landscapes.
After entering Serengeti National Park, you will enjoy game drives en route to your camp, with opportunities to spot lions, giraffes, elephants, wildebeests, and an array of birdlife. Today, immerse yourself fully in the wonders of the Serengeti with a full day of exploration and adventure. Rise with the sun for an early morning game drive, the best time to witness the park’s residents as they begin their daily activities.
As you traverse the vast plains and winding rivers of the Serengeti, keep your eyes peeled for sightings of the Big Five — lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and rhinos — as well as cheetahs, hyenas, and an abundance of birdlife. Your experienced guide will share their knowledge of the park’s ecosystems, pointing out hidden gems and answering any questions you may have along the way.
After a morning filled with incredible wildlife encounters, return to your accommodation for a leisurely brunch and some downtime to relax and recharge. In the afternoon, set out once again on another game drive, exploring different areas of the park and discovering new sights and sounds around every corner.

After breakfast, depart from the Serengeti and embark on a scenic drive through the stunning landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to one of the most unique ecosystems on earth.
Along the way, you’ll have the chance to spot wildlife such as elephants, zebras, and wildebeest grazing on the plains, with the dramatic backdrop of the Ngorongoro Highlands rising in the distance. Arriving at the rim of the crater, you’ll be treated to panoramic views of the crater floor below — a vast expanse of grassland, forest, and shimmering lakes that teem with wildlife year-round.
Descend into the crater for a full day of exploration, where you’ll have the chance to encounter lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and even the rare black rhinoceros — all set against one of the most breathtaking landscapes in Africa. Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the incredible scenery before ascending back to Karatu for the night.
