After an early breakfast, you’ll head to the national park’s visitor center, where you’ll receive a briefing before beginning your trek. Then, accompanied by experienced guides and trackers, you’ll venture deep into the Bwindi Rainforest in search of a family of mountain gorillas that have grown accustomed to human presence.
Once the gorillas are located, you’ll have a full hour to observe them in their natural habitat. This is your chance to see up close how some of the world’s rarest primates live and interact.
In the afternoon, you’ll meet the Batwa indigenous people. During a walk, you’ll learn about their history, traditions, and way of life, which has been intertwined with the region’s forests for generations.
