The Heart of Kenya and the Shores of Zanzibar

Discover the two most spectacular destinations in East Africa in a single trip. You’ll enjoy thrilling safaris in the legendary Maasai Mara, encounters with giraffes and the Maasai culture, walks along Lake Naivasha, and then relaxation on the snow-white beaches of Zanzibar with excursions and marine adventures.

Your journey begins in Nairobi—Kenya’s dynamic capital. After being met at the airport and transferred to your hotel, you’ll have time to rest after your flight. In the afternoon, you’ll visit the famous Giraffe Center, where you can feed rare Rothschild giraffes and take unforgettable photos. In the evening, you’ll enjoy dinner at the legendary Carnivore restaurant, one of Africa’s most famous dining destinations.

After breakfast, you’ll head to the Maasai Mara National Reserve—one of the best places in the world for wildlife viewing. On the way, you’ll stop at a viewpoint overlooking the Great Rift Valley, then continue through Kenya’s picturesque landscapes to the endless savannas of the Maasai Mara. After checking in and having lunch, you’ll go on your first safari, where you can see giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and other inhabitants of the African savanna.

The entire day is devoted to exploring one of Africa’s most famous nature reserves.
Accompanied by a professional guide, you’ll set out in search of lions, elephants, leopards, buffalo, and other members of the famous "Big Five." The trip will take you through a variety of natural habitats, including areas along the Mara River. In the afternoon, you’ll visit a traditional Maasai village, learn about local customs, watch traditional dances, and discover more about the culture of one of East Africa’s most famous tribes.

After breakfast, you’ll head to the picturesque Lake Naivasha. Here, you’ll enjoy a boat ride among hippos and numerous species of birds, followed by a unique walking safari on Crescent Island. Unlike traditional safaris, here you can observe giraffes, zebras, and antelopes practically within arm’s reach.
In the evening, you’ll check into a cozy resort hotel on the lake’s shore.

After breakfast, you’ll return to Nairobi and head to the paradise island of Zanzibar.
Upon arrival, a representative from the host organization will meet you and arrange a transfer to your beachfront hotel. You can spend the rest of the day by the ocean, enjoying the warm breeze and the tropical island atmosphere.

Today you’ll explore Zanzibar’s historical heritage and natural beauty.
Stroll through the charming streets of Stone Town, visit Prison Island to see the giant Aldabra tortoises, and then head to the famous Nakupenda sandbar. Crystal-clear water, snorkeling, and a lunch of fresh seafood will make this day one of the most memorable of your trip. Meals: breakfast and lunch.

The morning and afternoon are free for you to relax on the coast. Later in the evening, a romantic cruise on a traditional dhow awaits you. Enjoy the magnificent views of Zanzibar, the gentle sea breeze, and the stunning sunset over the Indian Ocean.

Spend your last full day in Zanzibar however you’d like. Relax on the beach, go on water excursions, explore the island on your own, or simply soak up the atmosphere of this true tropical paradise.

After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, a transfer to Zanzibar International Airport will be arranged.
