The Great Animal Migration

Depending on the season, witness one of nature’s most spectacular phenomena: the great migration. Thousands of gnu, zebra and gazelle cross the Mara River in search of fresh pastures, creating a spectacle that will amaze every traveler.

Explore Hell’s Gate National Park — take a bike ride, guided gorge walk and wildlife spotting tour. At sunset, end the day with a boat trip on Lake Naivasha and a walking tour of Crescent Island.

Travel to the Masai Mara via the colorful town of Narok, where you'll encounter wildlife such as lions, elephants, zebras and other savannah inhabitants.

Depending on the season, witness the incredible wildebeest migration as thousands of animals cross the Mara River. Look out for the Big Five and other wildlife throughout the day.

PROGRAM

Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Naivasha (Appx 2-3 hrs drive)

Begin your day by departing from Nairobi and journeying through the picturesque Great Rift Valley, with a stop at a lookout point offering breathtaking panoramic views. Upon reaching Lake Naivasha, check into your lodge before heading to Hell's Gate National Park for an adventurous bike ride, a guided walk through the gorge, and some wildlife spotting. As the sun sets, unwind with a peaceful boat ride on the lake, where you might catch a glimpse of hippos, before heading to Crescent Island for a chance to stroll among zebras and giraffes. End the day with a delicious dinner and a restful night at the lodge.

Day 2: L. Naivasha - Masai Mara (Appx 5-6 hrs drive)

After breakfast, depart Lake Naivasha for Masai Mara, passing through the lively town of Narok. Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch. After settling in, you will enjoy an exciting afternoon walk across the vast plains of the Mara, where you can observe predators awakening to begin hunting, as well as encounter zebras, antelope and other wildlife. After the walk, return to the lodge to enjoy dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by the enchanting sounds of African wildlife.

Day 3: Masai Mara full day

After breakfast, a full day of adventure awaits you in the Masai Mara Park. You'll travel in open-top jeeps, allowing each passenger to enjoy panoramic views and wildlife viewing to the fullest. During the day you will have the chance to see the ‘Big Five’ African animals - lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo, as well as many zebras, giraffes and over 570 species of birds.

Day 4: Masai Mara to Nairobi (Appx 5-6 hrs drive)

After breakfast, you will depart for Nairobi. Enjoy the scenic route with a scheduled stop for lunch in Narok. Arrival in Nairobi is expected late afternoon, after which you will be transferred to your hotel or airport.

Rates do not apply for Children aged 0-2 years as they are not charged.
Children between 3-11 years pay 50% of the adult rate when sharing the same rooms with adults.
Children between 3-11years pay 75% of the adult rate when in separate rooms from the adults.
Children above 11 years are recognized as adults therefore charged adult room rates.
